Joe concentrates his practice in commercial litigation in both state and federal court. He has managed a variety of complex cases involving real estate, products liability, banking and intellectual property matters. He has extensive experience representing both large and small commercial and consumer banks in real estate and fiduciary duty litigation. He regularly advises companies on how to successfully defend commercial litigation and maximize their potential recovery when pursuing litigation. Prior to joining O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing S.C., Joe was an associate at the law firm of Freeborn & Peters, LLP, in Chicago, Illinois where he worked on patent prosecution, appellate litigation and products liability matters. He was a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois to the Honorable Joe Billy McDade, and a law clerk in the Southern District of Illinois to the Honorable Donald G. Wilkerson.
